Colorado Mountain Passes

a mountain pass is a road/trail that connects two mountain valleys. it's dangerous, sometimes a little scary, but beautiful to drive/hike. oh, the scenery! you're so high you can just see forever, see all the mountain peaks all around you. you're at high altitude, so the air is cool, even cold, you always have to be on the lookout for thunderstorms or snowstorms, but, oh, the view!
