Be careful! I'm not an anti-cat person, but you definitely have to show them who's boss. I mean: don't pander to Albert's whims. Don't give him moist catfood -- stick to the dry stuff. Don't let him jump up on your kitchen counters. Keep a spray bottle or a watergun around to squirt him when he enters a no-cat zone (your bed, the stove, the dryer). It's for his own good.
Cats have the second-strongest God-complexes in the history of creation. (Humans just barely beat them out for first place.)
